Todays's match program featured Marcus Edwards on the front cover, with a corresponding interview talking through Edwards' rationale for joining Burnley on loan during the winter transfer window.
Looking at previous meetings with Luton Town, todays opponents, club historian Shaun Borman focussed on Burnley's 3-1 home victory in the FA Cup in 1935, an Ade Akinbiyi hat-trick inspired 3 - 2 victory in the Championship at Kenilworth Road in 2005, and another away win (1 - 0) at Kenilworth Road en route to promotion in February 2023, courtesy of a Ashley Barnes penalty.
There was a good interview with the club nutritionist Lauren Welch, talking about the importance of nutrition to elite performance, and the routine of her role.
The section focussing on Luton Town highlighted their 3 - 2 victory over Arsenal in the 1988 Littlewoods (League) Cup Final, the biggest trophy in Luton's history. Player focusses included Theo Aasgaard, recently signed from Wigan, Jordan clark, and Carlton Morris, along with a snippet on Brian Stein from the 80s.
The program wrapped with a short feature on Tuesday nights opponents, West Bromwich Albion. looking back to the 0-0 draw in the autumn at the Hawthorns. Jed Wallace is featured as one to watch, with a brief section on Tony Mowbray who returned to the Albion hotseat after Carlos Corberan departed to take charge at his hometown club Valencia.
